Had a long chat with Sarah and Heather about getting a doctorate in lit or rhetoric. I am starting to like the idea, especially the part about teaching at college. Not sure if the enthusiasm will stick, though.

I actually did not hate my job today. This is worth mentioning because my job has been its own level of hell recently. Dare I dream of a pleasant tomorrow?

Dreamt an atypical zombie dream. Me and several survivors were seeking a place to hide. We found an abandoned restaurant, and my friend wanted tape above all else. As I gave it to her, I saw her body tear into three pieces and I realize that she was a being of light underneath.

Things have been rough lately. Been stressed and depressed. Work shit. Gay shit. Trust issues. If I didn't have a mortgage I would fucking walk away from it all. Of course, that has always been my pattern. But this time, I have to stay here and work it out. I'd chalk this one up to growth, but I ain't through it yet. Wish I could sleep.
